Saturday - October 9 - Public Acknowledgement and Commemoration of Native American Legacy - 10am event in downtown Lancaster followed by lunch; 2pm dedication of Native American longhouse and celebration at Hans Herr House.  This event is part of the Lancaster Roots 300 Celebration.  For more information go to www.LancasterRoots300.org.

Life-Giving Encounters is a time and atomosphere welcoming you into the Presence of the Lord.  You can expect to gaze into some of Priscilla Williams’ paintings while Kathi Wilson and her daughters sing over those who are gathered, helping to usher everyone into the presence of the Lord.  Lift-Giving Encounters will be held on the last Wednesday of every month from 7:00 - 9:00pm at Strasburg Assemblies of God, 211 Gap Road, Strasburg PA  17579.  For more information contact Kathi at kathi@living-waters-productions.com.

October 2, 2010 - Come Celebrate!  The Restoration of All Things that they may be one.  Discover the heart of God for His people through Davidic praise and worship and the input of four anointed speakers who will present God’s plan for “The Restortation“.  Located at Lancaster Bible College (8 am - 5 pm).  Pre-registration is required on the Restoration website.  $15.00 fee includes lunch on the campus.  For more information and/or register visit www.restore2one.org.

September 25 - Field Trip:  The 1710 Immigrant Route from Port to Paradise.   As part of the Lancaster Roots 300 Celebration, a tour following immigrant routes to and from Philadelphia is being offered.  The Tour begins and ends at the 1719 Hans Herr House with guided narration and stops at several 18th century sites; includes a walking tour and colonial lunch at historic tavern in “Old Town” Philadelphia.  For more information go to www.LancasterRoots300.org.

October 1 - 2:  Shepherd Press, Rejuvenating the Gospel in Your Marriage and Family will be held at The Hilton in Harrisburg PA.  Keynote Speakers are Dr. Dave Harvey and Dr. Tedd Tripp.  Saturday afternoon people can customize their conference experience and choose their smaller breakout with one of six insightful authors/subjects.  There is something for everyone (even empyt nesters!) so check it out.  You can find out more at www.SPA2010.com.
