May 19, 2012 - Bridges Out of Proverty: Strategies for Professionals & Communities Training will be held at The Family Center, Gap PA (8:00am - 4:00pm).  This one day workshop is being presented by Chuck Holt, Executive Director of The Factory Ministries.  Throughout the workshop, participants will receive specific strategies for improving outcomes for people living in poverty, but the focus of the workshop is to provide a broad overview of the concepts.  Cost is $25 / person (includes lunch and workbook).  For additional information and to register go to www.thefactoryministries.com.

September 11, 2011 - A Call to Prayer - Moving from Fear to Faith.  Allow us to be a part of your Sunday morning service on 9/11/11.  Ten years ago our nation was attacked by Muslim terrorists. Many agree that event forever changed the world. Our international relations are strained; our battle against an elusive global terrorist enemy has created fear and paranoia.

May 5 - National Day of Prayer.  There are planned activities beginning Wednesday, May 4.   The main event, Celebration of Prayer, begins at 5:30pm on Thursday, May 5, at Lancaster Bible College with the NDP Choir.  The evening will include corporate prayer and prayer huddles.  Anne Graham Lotz (daugher of Billy & Ruth Graham) will be the guest speaker.   For details of all the National Day of Prayer activities go to www.lancasterndp.com.

On March 3 and April 7 the National Day of Prayer Committee is hosting a prayer gathering from 12 noon until 1:00pm.  The gathering is open to those across the region who want to pray together for The National Day of Prayer on May 5, 2011.  The prayer meetings will be held at Fisher Companies, 1794 Oregon Pike, Lancaster.  Any questions, call (717) 519-5200.
